I’m not about to start a new blog series, because Lord knows I have enough of those already. But in case you’re sitting at your desk on a Friday and don’t really feel like working, here’s four things I read (okay, one of those I watched) this week that I enjoyed and want to share with you.
I hope you all have fun weekend plans that mostly involve binge-watching the Olympics but maybe also involve being outdoors, eating something (anything!) good and seeing people who make you feel loved and appreciated. Go do it!
Olympic Rower Seth Weil Eats Whatever the Hell He Wants // This guy is my Spirit Animal Olympian, purely because of how many times he mentioned tacos.
There Chef Ben Knaus on Hospitality, Shotskis and Cold Chicken // “If you’re not hospitable, stay the @$%# of our hospitality.” And that’s the kind of motto I like to see a restaurant operate on.
How To: Make Fluffy Pancakes with Matty Matheson // And now I really just wanna make these pancakes this weekend, refer to measuring spoons as “keybumps” and be best friends with Matty Matheson.
The Grub Street Diet: Sweetgreen’s Nnicolas Jammet Balances Salads With Clam Pizza and Goat-Belly Lo Mein // Not the best but also not the worst!
