2016 Summer Bucket List

It’s here, it’s here!  Summer has come!

Yesterday, “Wildfire” by John Mayer was the first song to come up on my iPod and it’s the perfect start of summer song because it says “a little bit of summer’s what the whole year’s all about” and I thought “HELL YEAH it is, John!”  So whether I’m up running at 6 AM, or watering my flowers, or grilling burgers, or simply sitting on my porch swing, you better believe I’m feeling insanely happy and carefree and loving every single 90° second.  Here’s the 2016 Summer Bucket List that’s gonna help me take advantage of everything my favorite season has to offer!

I think this little list that’s hanging in our kitchen is pretty self-explanatory, but in case you’re my mom and need some clarification, Uncle is referring to the ramen restaurant in the Highlands and not my actual uncle.  Though he’s welcome on my patio too 🙂

Tell me, what’s on YOUR summer bucket list??

  1. Whoa, what’s movie night at Little Man?! That sounds awesome. Your whole list looks excellent. I hate how summer finally gets here and then it feels like there’s just not enough time to do everything I want to do; maybe I should make a solid bucket list like you did to keep my eye on the prize!
P.S.: Weird question, but since I missed our May book club meeting, do you know if I’m supposed to officially RSVP for the book swap? I remember there being some discussion of organizing it a different way…Thanks!

    • Little Man Ice Cream does a double feature movie night on Fridays! They should have the schedule listed somewhere, but it’s usually a more “family friendly” movie first then a classic afterwards. Summer is never long enough for me 😦

She actually never mentioned the RSVP issue again after that. It doesn’t look like many people have responded so maybe they are in the same boat, wondering if they’re supposed to or not. Worst case you just give her $5 on Wednesday though!
