We’re back and now I’m perpetually sad not to be at a BTS show. Post-Concert Depression was literally setting in as the show came to an end, but it’s actually not so bad because being home with my babies is the best and we had a really fun summer weekend ❤️

Las Vegas is… just not it for me 😂 So much time to kill before getting to the good stuff and if you’re not drinking, gambling, going to the pool or shopping, what are you supposed to be doing?? We still had a good time though and non-concert highlights included walking through the garden party display at Bellagio, chocolate dumplings at Din Tai Fung, the BTS collaboration with the Arte Museum and no line for my new Army Bomb outside the stadium 😜
As for the show, there are just no words! Except for all of the following words 😂 The 360º stage was just SO COOL. And even when the guys were facing the other way, that MEGA screen was just crystal clear. I’ve seen sooooo many clips from prior shows on this tour and yet, I was still unprepared for how incredible it was going to be. They go all out and it was visually and sonically stunning! It’s truly all my favorite part but my favorite favorite parts were the opening performance of “Hooligan,” JIMIN’S HAIR, seeing Run BTS live (I’ve only been waiting since the Yet to Come concert in 2022!), vocal line at the end of “Like Animals,” “2.0” choreography, the “Arirang” sample in “Body to Body” when all the dancers and flags came out and the whole crowd was singing along in Korean (absolute chills!), the two surprise songs (“Anpanman” forever and OH MY GOD, ARMY lost their minds when “Attack on Bangtan” played), hearing “Into the Sun” live (JK’s vocals?? How’s he real??) and last but not least, just being in a crowd with thousands of other people who love the thing you love 💜 Till next time, Bangtan!

Poor Dempsey came into our room at 3 AM after having a nightmare but I kind of loved it because I never get to wake up to his sweet face in my bed 🥹

As for our weekend, it was really great! Had a very low-key night at home on Friday, paid a visit (on the recommendation of Dempsey) to the Museum of Nature and Science on Saturday morning — we hit up the splash pad behind the museum as we were leaving and why was I the only adult in there?? 😂 — celebrated our neighbor’s 5th grade graduation on Saturday night, went to the Farmers’ Market for breakfast, popsicles, flowers, cherries and a huge basket of the most beautiful strawberries, went to the Rockies game — we lost big time but the kids actually seemed into being there! — had a really good dinner and ended Sunday playing on our neighbors’ swing. Such pure summertime fun ❤️
Wishing you all a happy first week of June!
